With this victory, RCB have won 7 matches out of the 10 games they have played- meaning they have 14 points. Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are all tied with 12 points. Punjab Kings, who had to face a point with Kolkata Knight Riders are at 5th spot with 11 points.

Given below is the updated points table (as of April 27):

If we look at the usual routine of the IPL, the teams with 16 points on the board have had no difficulties in securing their place in the final four. Keeping that record in mind Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals are the teams who need the lest victories to secure their position. If they manage to win 2 of their matches, they can secure themselves a place.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders all have 5 matches remaining, and will need to win all of those matches if they wish to secure themselves a spot in the final four.
