Bangladesh HC upholds 20 students' death penalty for lynching university mate

The High Court upheld the death penalty for 20 BUET students convicted of beating fellow student Abrar Fahad to death in 2019 for criticizing the government. The verdict also includes life imprisonment for five other convicts. The brutal attack involved 25 students and lasted for nearly six hours.
