One of Hollywood’s Biggest Stars Saved Amanda Seyfried From ‘Catastrophic’ Wardrobe Malfunction

Wardrobe malfunctions happen to everybody, whether you're famous or not. But, when they happen to famous celebrities, it's up to other famous celebrities to help with the fallout. And according to Amanda Seyfried, one man stepped in to save her back in 2023 when she suffered a big wardrobe malfunction. 

"My boobs fell out of my dress at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards," Seyfried told People. She noted it was an "amazing vintage dress" but that on the red carpet, it started "literally falling off of me." 

But, during a brief chat with actor Glen Powell, Seyfried says it all came loose. "We were joking around about something and I lifted my arms up, and my boobs were just out."

However, Seyfried notes that Powell was a total gentleman. He covered me. He didn’t look… I think. None of us were expecting that, but that dress had truly just given up.”

This was why, later, when Seyfried took to the stage in 2023, she ended up borrowing "someone's jacket." Because if she wanted, she notes "Because, well, it would’ve just been my boobs.”
