Jonathan Bailey is sadly not with the rest of the Wicked cast at the 2025 Academy Awards.
Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and the other cast members stepped out to celebrate Wicked‘s 10 nominations at the awards show on Sunday (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Also in attendance were Jeff Goldblum (with wife Emilie), Michelle Yeoh, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, and Bowen Yang, as well as director Jon M. Chu.

If you didn’t know, Jonathan is currently starring in the play Richard II in London and while he has Sundays off, it would have been a very tight turnaround for him to fly to Los Angeles for the event.
