No, Brody isn’t married, but he is in a romantic relationship. The actor is currently dating Georgina Chapman, who like her partner is no stranger to the limelight. She’s an English fashion designer as well as an actress, having appeared on Project Runway All Stars and cofounded the fashion brand Marchesa with Keren Craig, per Today.

You may also recognize Chapman’s name for other, less rosy reasons: She was previously married to disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein. Chapman left Weinstein in 2017 amid an onslaught of allegations of sexual abuse against him. Their divorce was finalized in 2021, and Weinstein is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence for rape in California.

Having retreated from the public eye when Weinstein was first accused, Chapman addressed the fallout in a 2018 Vogue interview. “At first I couldn’t, because I was too shocked. And I somehow felt that I didn’t deserve it. And then I realized: This has happened. I have to own it. I have to move forward,” she said.

“There was a part of me that was terribly naive—clearly, so naive. I have moments of rage, I have moments of confusion, I have moments of disbelief! And I have moments when I just cry for my children. What are their lives going to be?”

How Did Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman Meet?

The couple first got to know each other in 2019, through mutual friends while on a trip to Puerto Rico. They bonded over having the same birthday, April 14. (That makes them both Aries, for any astrology nerds out there.)

“So the first evening we had a joint birthday party, blowing out candles together, and weirdly we even had almost matching outfits, we were wearing the same print,” Chapman remembered in a joint interview the couple did with Vogue.

Brody and Chapman hard-launched their relationship in 2021 at the Tribeca Film Festival, and that same year appeared together at the Met Gala and the Cannes Film Festival.

How Is Their Relationship Going?

So far, it seems Brody’s relationship to Chapman is going swimmingly, just like his awards season campaign for The Brutalist. The couple has been seen together at several awards shows in recent months. Meanwhile, the film is nominated for 10 awards at the Oscars happening on Sunday.

While picking up one award after another for his Brutalist performance, Brody has made loving tributes to the lady in his life.

“To my beautiful and amazing partner, Georgina. Your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity are a daily reminder of how to be,” Brody said in his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes. “I would not be standing here before you if it wasn’t for you.”

Chapman seems just as smitten, and proud of her beau: “Congratulations to my darling Adrien on your well-deserved win, I couldn’t be more proud,” she wrote in an Instagram post with a photo of her and Brody at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
