In the image, Marion can be seen with a completely swollen right eye and cut on her forehead, while receiving oxygen.

To compound her serious injuries, the French journalist and TV presenter has also been suffering with pneumonia.

Her update read: “Pneumonia, broken ribs, brain trauma… The lot!

“Bike accident, but I can’t tell you more… I have no memory of it.

“Anyway… Thank you for your messages and support, it’s lovely! I hope to get home as soon as possible. In the meantime, I have a husband who manages with the three children.

“Gotta give this story is crazy. I still don’t understand what happened to me or why I’m in so much pain…”

Marion’s post received several supportive messages, including from F1 reporter Natalie Pinkham, who wrote: “Omg heal well darling.”

Marion and Romain got together in 2008 and married four years later.

They have since had three children together; Sacha, 11, Simon, nine, and Camille, seven.

Grosjean competed in Formula 1 between 2009 and 2020.

Since his departure from Haas more than four years ago, the Swiss racer has competed in Indycar.

During his final season in F1, Grosjean suffered a terrifying crash in Bahrain.

Following a 140mph collision with the barrier, Grosjean’s car burst into flames.

Following more than 20 terrifying seconds trapped in his burning vehicle, he miraculously managed to climb out of the wreckage.

After walking to the medical car, Grosjean was airlifted to hospital, where he was treated for broken ribs and burns.

A year later, he revealed that he still wears scars from his burns on his hand.

‘IT WASN’T MY TIME’

Speaking about the accident on Nico Rosberg‘s podcast, he said: “To come out of the flames that day is something that will mark my life forever.

“I have a lot of people who have shown me love and it has touched me a lot, and at times I get a bit teary-eyed.

“I don’t know if the word miracle exists or if it can be used, but in any case I would say it wasn’t my time [to die].

“It felt much longer than 28 seconds. I saw my visor turning all orange, I saw the flames on the left side of the car.

“I thought about a lot of things, including Niki Lauda, and I thought that it wasn’t possible to end up like that, not now. I couldn’t finish my story in Formula One like that.

“And then, for my children, I told myself that I had to get out. I put my hands in the fire, so I clearly felt it burning on the chassis.

“I got out, then I felt someone pulling on the suit, so I knew I was out.”
