New fleet of yellow taxis hit Kolkata streets

In collaboration with a private company, the West Bengal government has introduced 20 modern yellow taxis, called 'Yellow Heritage Cabs', to revitalize the iconic fleet. The cabs, featuring seat belts, airbags, and CNG and petrol options, can be booked through the 'Yatri Sathi' app and will soon expand to 3,000 vehicles.
