Selim Saied Signs on Loan!

The tricky winger joins the Dolphins from National League South Farnborough after making 91 appearances and scoring 15 goals in three years at Cherrywood Road.

The 21-year-old started his career at youth level for National League outfit Woking.

He progressed through the ranks into the first team and earned a senior deal in September 2020 and made two National League appearances.

Saied joined Farnborough on loan for the start of the 2021/22 campaign, winning the Hampshire Senior Cup and helping his side gain promotion from The Southern League Premier South.

After a fantastic season, he made the switch to the Hampshire side permanent in October 2022.

Over the previous two seasons, he made 68 appearances and scored 12 goals before being released at the end of last season.

In January, Saied was re-signed by Farnborough and has now signed for Poole Town on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Joint-manager Joe Lea said: “Me and Pat are delighted to have him with us, we know that Spencer Day thinks very highly of him at Farnborough.”

Lea added: “It’s a position where we need additional support and it’s good to get someone in that is established in the National South to help us earn points for the remainder of the season.”
