Beautiful late winter day, blustery, cold weekend with flurries
WIND ADVISORY UNTIL 7 P.M.
After a chilly morning, the afternoon will be windy and mild, with temperatures in the low 50s. Winds will gust over 30 mph behind high pressure sliding off to the east.
A wind advisory continues until a little past sunset along and northwest of the I-71 corridor for wind gusts briefly topping 40-45 mph.
Clouds will increase this evening ahead of a strong clipper system crossing the northern Great Lakes, but with little moisture, only a few stray showers are possible tonight.
Temperatures will fall to freezing by daybreak on Saturday, with scattered snow showers. Significantly colder weather will arrive this weekend, with a gusty northwesterly wind. A few flurries are possible with moisture from the Great Lakes.
Afternoon temperatures both Saturday and Sunday will hover near freezing in the afternoon, as arctic high pressure moves in. The weather will turn milder next week, with rain returning early Tuesday and continue Wednesday, as low pressure tracks from the southern Plains to the Ohio Valley.
