Millions of Brits have been soaking up the sun we’ve had for the past few days – and proud mum Susie (@susiev13) is no exception, recently sharing what she gets up to when the sky is clear.

Instead of marinating indoors like everyone has been for the last couple of months, Susie, from Manchester, has been making the most of the fabulous weather.

The mum, who claimed to live on a council estate, recently took to TikTok to share her epic routine.

Sitting on black rattan furniture and armed with booze, Susie told social media users: ”This is what a council estate looks like – washing‘s out, Amaretto’s on the table, sunshine’s blaring, lovely.”

After a little relaxing session and enjoying some alcohol, Susie went on to do some gardening whilst wearing bright pink pyjamas, as well as cosy robe to keep her toasty.

Once done, Susie revealed it was time for fitness, as she grabbed a barbell and attempted to a quick weightlifting workout outdoors.

”This is what I like to do in my spare time,” the mum told viewers in the clip, which has racked up close to 80k views in just one day.

All chuffed with her productive day, Susie chuckled in the caption: ”Think I’m getting heatstroke.”

‘Good on her’

The light-hearted video has since taken the internet by storm, winning Susie over 100 comments and 1,322 likes.

One person joked: ”You missed playing Bob Marley on a cheap stereo out the front as well.”

Another chimed in: ”Trust if I didn’t have work today this would have been me. Good on her.”

”Not the washing by the bins,” pointed out someone else who thought the placement was rathe unhygienic.

”Always the FRONT garden as well,” added a fellow viewer.

A mortified TikToker cried out in horror: ”Oh dear! Nothing like that ever (thankfully) on the one I lived on! Enjoy!”

What It's Really Like Growing Up On A Council Estate

Fabulous reporter, Leanne Hall, recalls what it's like growing up in social housing.

As someone who grew up in a block of flats on a council estate, there are many wild stories I could tell.

From seeing a neighbour throw dog poo at the caretaker for asking them to mow their lawn (best believe they ended up on the Jeremy Kyle show later in life) to blazing rows over packages going missing, I’ve seen it all.

While there were many times things kicked off, I really do believe most of the time it’s because families living on council estates get to know each other so well, they forget they’re neighbours and not family.

Yes, things can go from zero to 100 quickly, but you know no matter what you can rely on your neighbour to borrow some milk or watch all of the kids playing outside.

And if you ask me, it’s much nicer being in a tight community where boundaries can get crossed than never even knowing your neighbour’s name while living on a fancy street.

Brits told to prepare for washouts

Met Office meteorologist Clare Nasir said that Saturday’s weather could be a washout for many across the nation.

Heavy rain is forecast across Scotland and Northern Ireland which are the worst affected regions.

The band of rain will slowly move in an easterly direction as Brits wake up across the UK.

But the weather front will “weaken” as it moves, according to the Met Office.

Showers are still expected in the far North of England, North West Wales and Southern Scotland on Saturday afternoon.
