The Assam government is proposing to lay optical fiber cable under the Brahmaputra River for faster internet connectivity up to Kolkata. This plan aims to prevent disruptions caused by cable cuts. Discussions will take place during the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit with Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in attendance.
