NYC department to offer jobs on the spot at hiring event
NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Searching for a new job that offers raises after working for six months?
The New York City Administration of Children’s Services is hosting a hiring event on Feb. 28 and is seeking Child Protective Specialist positions. Immediate hiring decisions and conditional job offers may be given on the spot.
The starting salary is $57,127, which increases to around $62,043 after six months. The base salary increases to $66,159 with a salary range up to $91,071, after 18 months.
Employees can choose from 11 health plan options, some with no co-pays or deductibles.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, including or supplemented by 24-semester credits in one or more combination of the following fields: social work, psychology, sociology, human services, criminal justice, education, nursing, or cultural anthropology.
