It isn’t though, that’s an exaggeration. In general it’s ran true enough. Apparently Thor was beaten by the pitch when in fact the ball bounced just before contact (which it tends to do off a cross) and, leaning back, he failed to get over it.

And now we have the bloke who’s paid to follow and cover blues up and down the country at every single game saying the pitch was crap, and the opposition manager saying it’s that shit that it could cause injuries (which it very well looks like it may have helped with yesterday).

But no, despite all of this evidence the pitch that they can’t afford to maintain wasn’t that bad.
