EC 2025: Follow Along and be seen with Regatta Tracking!

At the 2025 DN European Championship & EuroCup we will be trying out multiple regatta tracking systems, so your fans and supporters at home can follow along while helping us to bring awareness to our sport.

As noted in the Sailing Instructions, Gold (A) Fleet sailors will be provided with SportRec tracking devices, which use will be mandatory during the event.

But the Silver (B) & Bronze (C) fleets won’t be left out of the fun either! As before KWINDOO provides tracking and live view via your smartphone and their app! This solution will be available for A Fleet sailors as well.

A few things to know about:

Tracking will be done with a separate device that will be attached to the mast.

Who will get the trackers?
The Gold (A) fleet sailors will get them

Why only A fleet?
We are testing the system for the first time.

When will I get the tracker?
The A fleet sailors will get them at SKIPPERS MEETING, so don’t leave without one if you are in the A fleet

What if I sail qualifiers?
You will get it when being measured after the qualifying race. So don’t leave the measuring area without one.

Do I need to remove the tracker from the boat?
Yes, please take the tracker off for the night.

Do I need to charge the tracker?
Yes, to ensure that it will work all 5 days please charge the tracker AFTER EACH RACING DAY. A USB charging cable will be given to you also.

What If I lose the tracker?
If you don’t switch it off, we can always find it.

When do I give it back?
After the last race please return the TRACKER AND CHARGING CABLE to any ESTONIAN boat/sailor etc.
