Logan Paul banned from Egypt for life as WWE star reveals government intervened to stop him visiting Pyramids
WWE star Logan Paul has revealed he was banned from going to Egypt by the country’s government.
The YouTuber-turned-fighter claims he was turned away from visiting the North African nation as part of a collaboration with fellow social media star Mr Beast.
Paul wanted to link up with the internet icon for a video exploring the famous pyramids.
But Egypt’s government warned Mr Beast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, that Paul was not welcome in the country.
And they also refused to explain why the wrestler was not allowed to enter, leaving him stunned.
WWE ace Paul said: “Mr Beast just uploaded a new video exploring the pyramids, and I love the pyramids.
“So I was like, ‘Jimmy, can I come?’ And he was like, ‘For sure dude’.
“Then a week later he called me and was like, ‘Dude, unfortunately the Egyptian government said you can’t come, otherwise we can’t come’.
“And I was like, ‘Wait, what? I know I’ve p****d people off, but the Egyptian government? I’ve never even been to Egypt, what can’t I come to the pyramid?’
“He said, ‘I don’t know, the government specifically said you are the only person that cannot come on this trip’.”

Egypt is not the first country to take issue with Paul.
In 2017 he received a major backlash from the people of Japan after filming from inside the country’s “suicide forest” near Mount Fuji.
Paul controversially showed the corpse of a man who had taken his own life.
Although he was roundly criticised for his behaviour, Paul was not banned from Japan.
Yet he has previously insisted he will only return to the country if he is officially invited.
