Danielle Deadwyler Joins Steve Carell in New HBO Comedy Series

Danielle Deadwyler is the latest star to join the cast of HBO‘s upcoming comedy series!

On Wednesday (February 19), it was announced that the 42-year-old BAFTA-nominated actress has been cast in the upcoming untitled comedy series set on college campus joining previously announced stars Steve Carell, Charly Clive, and Phil Dunster.

Keep reading to find out more…Created and written by Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses, the single-camera comedy is “set on a college campus, centering on an author’s (Carell) complicated relationship with his daughter (Clive),” according to Deadline.

Danielle will be playing the “head of the English Department at the liberal arts college, a professor of poetry, and a published writer who has instant rapport with Carell’s character.”

Along with starring in the series, Steve will also be serving as an executive producer.

Danielle will next be starring in the new horror movie The Woman in the Yard, which hits theaters on March 28. Watch the trailer here!
