Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid and Erling Haaland of Manchester City. Future teammates?

Last week's first leg did not disappoint, and we're spoiled for free options today to see which giant of European football will be dumped out of the Champions League. Wherever you are in the world, we can show you where to watch a Real Madrid vs. Man City live stream.

If you want to watch a free Real Madrid vs. Man City live stream from outside the broadcast countries listed below, you'll hit a geo-block when you try to watch them. However, this is not the case if you use a VPN (virtual private network), which masks your location to get around region blocks and greatly improves your online security and privacy.

Things are set up nicely for an exciting game tonight after Real's dramatic comeback last week gives them a 3-2 lead. But a draw at the weekend saw them slip to second in La Liga, while Man City finally clawed their way into the top four at home with a 4-0 win against Newcastle. Heading to the Bernabeu, a goal behind, is a different beast, though, and City will need more than a Blue Moon to rise over the Spanish capital to stay in the competition, given the ever-stumbling nature of their resurgence.

Remember to bookmark our guide to all Champions League live streams. We can help you watch every game throughout the season, and there are plenty of free ones each match week.

Where to watch Real Madrid vs. Man City free from anywhere

As mentioned in the box above, multiple streaming services all over Europe are showing the game for free. But if you're not in one of those countries, you can still watch by using a VPN to mimic the location on your viewing device and prevent the website from detecting your location and blocking you.

Don't have one? Right now, there's a fantastic offer on one of our favorite streaming and security VPNs. You can save 86% on the usual price of Surfshark and get three months for free. If you're unsatisfied, there's a hassle-free 30-day money-back guarantee. Still not entirely sure you need one? Take a look at our detailed Surfshark review to see more about it. Then get stuck in and enjoy these free Champions League live stream options.

How to watch Real Madrid vs. Man City live stream with a VPN

Where to watch Real Madrid vs. Man City in the UK

Champions League coverage in the UK is on TNT Sport under the Discovery+ service for £30.99 a month. You must select the Premium option, as the cheaper tiers don't include live sports. This will get you every game.

Want a cheaper alternative? Follow the VPN steps above to tune into free coverage from various European sites.

Where to watch Real Madrid vs. Man City in Australia

The Champions League is a Stan Sport exclusive in Australia, and you can watch every game there. So you'll need to sign up for Stan and then add Stan Sport as an add-on. The cheapest setup is $27 a month (for Stan Basic at $12 and Sport at $15). Better yet, it comes with a 30-day free trial first for the baseline tier - you'll still pay $15 for the Sport add-on from the off, though.

Stan Basic only streams in standard definition, but Stan Sport's content will stream in up to 4K, even when paired with this cheapest tier, so you might as well go Basic if you're just getting it for sport. However, if you want to check out the TV shows and movies too, HD is $16 a month/$21 for 4K (then add $15 for Sport). All are on rolling one-month contracts, so there's no long-term commitment.

If you're eying up this option via a VPN as a cheaper alternative to your country's Champions League streaming service, we can confirm it will work. We were able to pay with a UK bank card and have full access to the streaming service. You could also use a travel card like Revolut to pay in local currency so you don't get a foreign transaction fee from your bank.

Where to watch Real Madrid vs. Man City in the US

You'll find every last Champions League game live streaming on Paramount Plus from just $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year (you wouldn't get two months of Champions League action for that annual price in the UK!). So yes, you can opt for the cheapest Paramount Plus tier and still get the Champions League.

If you're eyeing this option from outside the US, you'll need a US payment method to sign up and will be limited to watching on the browser. The Paramount Plus app, unlike Netflix, is different for each country it exists in. So, using a VPN on the UK Paramount+ app won't unlock the Champions League for you.

Note: The use of VPNs is illegal in certain countries, and using VPNs to access region-locked streaming content might constitute a breach of the terms of use for certain services. Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal use of VPNs.
