Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming a hero, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.

In the season finale, Peter Parker’s crime fighting battles come to an end. Or do they?

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has been greenlit through Season 3!

Not only is Season 2 coming, but so is Season 3!

During an interview with The Movie Podcast, Marvel Studios executive Brad Winderbaum revealed that the Disney+ show has been renewed through Season 3, even before Season 1 launched.

“I’ve fallen so head-over-heels in love with these characters,” he said. “By the way, I’ve read all the scripts for Season 2. We’re halfway through the animatics, and what [creator] Jeff [Trammell] is building brick by brick in this show is starting to pay off.”

As ComicBook.com notes, there are also several potential villains being set up for Season 2 already, including Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin/Venom, Tombstone, Kingpin and Scarlet Spider.
