PM degree row: Awarding degree public act under RTI, Delhi HC told

In a hearing about PM Narendra Modi's educational records, the Delhi High Court was informed that awarding degrees is a public act under RTI. RTI applicants argued that Delhi University, being a public authority, must disclose such information. Delhi University countered citing privacy and fiduciary concerns. The court will continue the hearing on February 27.
