Watch awkward moment Curtis and Ekin-Su are interviewed by his Love Island ex Amy  – who can’t resist cheeky swipe

LOVE Island’s Curtis Pritchard reunited with his ex Amy Hart after leaving the All Stars villa – and it was hilariously awkward.

Curtis, who placed third in last night’s finale with girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, appeared on the show’s Instagram Live ahead of the finale, chatting to Amy Hart – who he famously split with during his first time in the villa.

Amy, who now hosts Love Island’s spin-off podcast The Morning After, couldn’t resist making a playful jab at her ex as they reunited for the first time since they called it quits.

Amy wasted no time in referencing their break-up, playfully asking Ekin-Su: “How many coffees have you had, Ekin, in the morning?”

“I think I made her quite a few!” laughed Curtis, brushing off the comment, before asking Ekin: “Now be honest, did you like them, that’s the thing.”

“Not when times when things were bumpy, but yes, other than that, I loved them,” Ekin laughed, with Curtis grimacing alongside her.

Curtis and Amy were coupled up together during their time on the show back in 2019, but broke up shortly after his return from Casa Amor.

While he chose to recouple with Amy, he later called things off, prompting her to tell him “I was coming back here to tell you I love you.”

She also noted his lack of affection towards her, telling him: “If someone likes you they want to have a cuddle in bed with you in the morning.”

But he now famously responded: “I know and I also want to be the person that gets up and makes everyone a coffee so everyone’s ready for the morning.”

Amy quit the show shortly afterwards, not wanting to continue after being heartbroken and watching him crack on with Maura Higgins.

Six years on and it seems the pair were willing to joke about the moment, with Amy joking he was “lucky he didn’t get it thrown in his face” in a joke about Ekin-Su throwing a drink over Curtis during their time in All Stars.

Ekin responded: “Or may be on the knee, but yeah …”

Curtis appeared to say: “There was nearly a WKD wasn’t it … but let’s forget about that!”

“I love how boys are really protective of their shoes, aren’t they? So everyone was like ‘she went for the shoes’ but was that y’know…. hit them where it hurts?” Amy teased, with Ekin responding: “Exactly, babe, exactly!”

Curtis then joked: “I think I should just leave you two to continue here.” before pretending to walk off, which prompted Amy to state: “No, it’s all love here.”

On last night’s finale, Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman were crowned the winners in a shock announcement, beating out bookies favourites Grace Jackson and Luca Bish.

Ekin and Curtis came third, Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame came fourth, and Elma Pazar and Sammy Root placed fifth.

Love Island All Stars is available in full now on ITVX.
