It just goes to show just how safe modern aircraft are.

The inbuilt safety features now are incredible.

30 years ago those people would be dead, but now everyone survives.

I take your point, but watch downfall on netflix (about boeing).
It makes you think slightly differently. To save a few quid and avoid typical protocols, people died. The planes literally crashed themselves.
