National coffee chain with handful of Ohio locations opens drive-thru in Pickerington
PICKERINGTON, Ohio (WCMH) – A national coffee chain serving breakfast sandwiches and sweets recently opened in Pickerington.
Scooter’s Coffee began welcoming customers at 601 Diley Road in late January. The chain serves hot, iced and blended coffees in a variety of flavors, as well as tea, smoothies and “quenchers,” which are fruit-flavored drinks. Scooter’s menu also features food items including maple waffle sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, burritos and cake bites.
The national franchise-based concept has seven locations in Ohio, including in Marysville and Lancaster. As with all locations, the Scooter’s in Pickerington is exclusively a drive-thru.
Scooter’s was founded in 1998 in Bellevue, Nebraska, before expanding to more than 800 stores in 30 states. The chain prides itself on its fast service, with the average wait time at a Scooter’s drive-thru totaling 40 seconds, according to its website.
Scooter’s Coffee in Pickerington is open Mondays through Wednesdays from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
