Family escapes Carencro trailer fire early Monday morning

CARENCRO, La. (KLFY) -- A Carencro family was awakened early this morning by a fire that destroyed its mobile home, authorities said.
Carencro Fire Department responded at 1:24 a.m. Monday to a mobile home fire in the 100 block of Peltier Road, along with Lafayette and Scott fire departments.
All occupants were able to escape with no injuries, officials said.
No other details were released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
