Centre approves continuation of PM-AASHA scheme till 2025-26; tur procurement starts in many states

The Centre has approved the continuation of the PM-AASHA scheme until 2025-26, aiming to provide remunerative prices to farmers and control price volatility. The procurement of Tur, Urad, and Masur under the Price Support Scheme will be up to 100% of the state's production for the 2024-25 procurement year.
