ED conducts multi-state raids in cough syrup drugs case; nabs 2 NCB accused

The Enforcement Directorate seized cash and jewellery worth Rs 2 crore and apprehended two accused involved in a drugs case. The raids were conducted in Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana, uncovering unauthorized sales of Codeine-Based Cough Syrup (CBCS) and related monetary gains. Various entities procured and illicitly sold the syrup, generating substantial proceeds of crime.
