Black, White, Blue or green…. what is the meaning of different colours of caps of water bottles?

You must have bought a water bottle many times, but have you noticed the lid of the bottle after purchasing it?. There was a time when people used to drink water from rivers and ponds, but due to increasing pollution, people now drink only purified water.

There are different colours of bottle caps available and each colour has a significance attached to it.

Bottled water was introduced in India in the 1970s, but even today most of the people in our country depend on ‘bottled water’. So let us know the reason for the different colors of the lid.

If there is a blue colored lid on the water bottle then it means that the water has been taken from a spring and the water is mineral water.

A green cap on a water bottle means that flavors have been added to the water. If the water bottle has a white colored lid, it means that the water has been purified (processed) by machine and if the lid of the bottle is black then the water is alkaline and this water is costlier and much better for health than normal water bottles.

If a water bottle has a yellow lid, it means that vitamins and electrolytes are mixed in the water.
