The Champions Trophy clash between historic-rivals India and Pakistan is going to show one of the biggest rivalries in cricket. Fans will do their ever-best so they could witness this clash in front of their own eyes.

India and Pakistan are going to face each other in the ICC Champions Trophy on February 23 at the Dubai International Stadium. Before this massive clash, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has made a massive claim.

Harbhajan stated that the matches between India and Pakistan are just overhyped, adding that there is nothing in those matches so special about them. However, he named one player who

“India and Pakistan. You heard it right-this is an overhyped match between India and Pakistan. Because there is nothing in it,” Harbhajan Singh said on a YouTube show.

“Look at their main batters. Their star batter is Babar Azam. His average against India is 31. If you are a top batter, you have to average around 50. Then, there is Rizwan. I like him as a player. He plays freely. But his average against India is 25. Fakhar Zaman, their only full-time opener, has an average of 46. It’s a good average. Fakhar can take the game away from India,” he added.

The Champions Trophy 2025 is being hosted by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and begin February 19 in a hybrid format, with India’s matches taking place in Dubai. This comes after the BCCI denied sending the Indian team to Pakistan amid security concerns.
