Watch: Massive hit to India’s Champions Trophy campaign, Star player injured his knee
Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant took a blow to his knee during the team’s training session in Dubai. This shocking incident has happened just a few days before India’s Champions Trophy campaign against Bangladesh on February 20. According to a report in Times of India, Hardik Pandya had played a shot after which Pant got hit on his left knee.
The medics were quick to come in and with Pant was able to continue his practice with a strapped knee. For those who are not familiar with the situation, this left knee is the same knee which had faced a lot of damage during his horrific car crash in December 2020.
After returning from the dressing room, Pant even laughed with Axar Patel, and it was just the usual stuff after that. This is going to be the first Champions Trophy campaign for the wicketkeeper-batter.
India’s Champions Trophy campaign will begin February 20 against Bangladesh in Dubai. The world cricket will also wait to witness the biggest clash between historic-rivals India and Pakistan on February 23.
