'Head scratching': Judge fired by Trump says layoffs work against President's own agenda
Donald Trump is hurting his own plans, according to a judge who was just fired by the current Republican administration.
Kerry Doyle, a former judge at the DOJ executive office for immigration review, appeared on MSNBC on Sunday to discuss the Trump layoffs. She said she received notice of her termination Friday in an email.
While Doyle said she wasn't "surprised" by the move, she admitted to being "disappointed."

The host, Alex Witt, then asked about the "head scratching part" of this.
"These layoffs are coming as the immigration backlog grows, with 3.6 million cases still waiting to be heard by a judge," Witt said regarding Trump, who campaigned on being able to deport as many illegal immigrants as possible.
Doyle replied, "Exactly. It doesn't make any sense."
"Every single judge that's on that bench contributes to helping the system work more efficiently," she said.
