Punjab: Deportee says his parents sold land, borrowed money to send him to US; urges govt assistance

Sourav, an alleged illegal Indian immigrant deported from the US to Amritsar, revealed his harrowing journey which cost his family Rs 45 lakhs. After traversing through various countries, he was caught and detained upon entering the US. Despite cooperating, he was deported back to India. Two aircraft carrying deported Indian nationals have landed in Amritsar.
