Maharashtra sets up panel to study legal aspects for law on forced conversions, 'love jihad'

The Maharashtra Government has formed a seven-member committee to explore the legal aspects of instituting a new law against forced conversions and 'love jihad'. This panel, led by the state police chief, will examine current conditions, review laws from other states, and recommend necessary legislation.
