Three fights added to UFC Mexico City fight card
The UFC’s return to Mexico has added a few more bouts.
The promotion announced on Friday three new matchups for UFC Mexico City, which includes a lightweight bout between fan-friendly fighters Drew Dober and Manuel Torres. Additionally, a strawweight contest between Loopy Godinez and Julia Polastri, and flyweight tilt pitting Ronaldo Rodriguez against Kevin Borjas were made official.
Brandon Moreno vs. Steve Erceg is set as the five-round main event for the March 29 Fight Night card at Arena CDMX.
Dober continues to take on incredibly tough opposition as he enters the card on a two-fight skid, and with just one win in his past four fights. In his most recent outing, Dober was stopped by Jean Silva at UFC Denver this past July in the event’s Fight of the Night.
Torres looks to bounce back from his first octagon loss to Ignacio Bahamondes at UFC 306 this past September. Prior to that, the 29-year-old finished six straight opponents in the first round.
