Updated figures of passport applications processed on Horse Source – February 14th, 2025

Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) has issued an update on the number of passport applications processed during the week ending February 14th, through Horse Source. The number completed foal passports issued is now 4919. There has been a total of 6798 foal passport applications received through Horse Source, of which 6307 are pedigree applications. To date, 5479 foal kits have been returned from breeders to HSI for pedigree applications, with the number of pedigree foal passports issued to breeders now 4549, equating to 83% of pedigree applications having passports issued, where DNA has been provided by customers. The total number of non-pedigree applications completed is now 370. 13% of DNA Kits have not been returned to HSI from breeders.
