Selena Gomez announces new album with fiancé Benny Blanco
Selena Gomez has released a new single and announced an upcoming album with her fiancé Benny Blanco. I Said I Love You First will be released March 21, the Emilia Pérez star shared on Instagram. The first single, “Scared of Loving You,” is available now on all streaming platforms. Blanco also shared the news on his own Instagram account, saying, “I can’t believe I get to spend the rest of my life with you.”

The pair announced their engagement last December, a year after going public with their relationship. Gomez is a two-time Grammy nominee whose hits include “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” “Lose You to Love Me,” and “Calm Down.” Blanco is a successful music producer who has worked with other megastar artists including Ed Sheeran, BTS, Eminem, Britney Spears, Rihanna, and his fiancée’s ex, Justin Bieber.
Julia Roberts thriller After the Hunt sets October release

Luca Guadagnino‘s new thriller, After the Hunt, starring Oscar winner Julia Roberts, will hit theaters this fall, according to Variety. Ayo Edebiri and Andrew Garfield also star in the film, scheduled for a limited release on Oct. 10 before going nationwide on Oct. 17.
The official logline states: “A college professor (Roberts) finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil (Edebiri) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Garfield) and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light.” Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloe Sevigny are also among the impressive cast.
The film was written by Nora Garrett, who also serves as executive producer along with Karen Lunder for Imagine Entertainment, as well as Justin Wilkes and Alice Dawson. After the Hunt is produced by Brian Grazer, Allan Mandelbaum, and Gaudagnino; and will be distributed by Amazon MGM Studios.
Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal uncover a deadly conspiracy in The Accountant 2 trailer
Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal are back in The Accountant 2 from Amazon MGM Studios. The action thriller directed by Gavin O’Connor and written by Bill Dubuque is the follow-up to 2016′ The Accountant, which grossed more than $150 million at the box office. See the trailer below.
Christian Wolff (Affleck) has a talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant,” Wolff is compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, Wolff recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother, Brax (Bernthal), to help. In partnership with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.
The Accountant 2 will have its world premiere at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival on March 8 and hit theaters nationwide on April 25.
Karla Sofía Gascón will not attend BAFTA Film Awards

As expected, Best Actress nominee and Emilia Pérez star Karla Sofía Gascón is not on the guest list for this weekend’s BAFTA Awards. Her costars Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldaña (both nominated for Best Supporting Actress) will be in attendance and present an award. Gascón has been absent from the Emilia Pérez Oscar campaign since her racist tweets were uncovered two weeks ago.
Other presenters announced by the British Academy include Adam Scott, Anna Kendrick, Camila Cabello, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Colman Domingo, Isabella Rossellini, James McAvoy, James Norton, Jessie Eisenberg, Letitia Wright, Leo Woodall, Lupita Nyong’o, Marisa Abela, Mark Hamill, Naomi Ackie, Pamela Anderson, Ralph Fiennes, Simon Pegg, Thomasin McKenzie, Vanessa Kirby, Will Poulter, and Will Sharpe (see the full list of attendees and presenters).

Music icons Cher, Dave Grohl, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Snoop Dogg, St. Vincent and Wyclef Jean will join the lineup of musical guests performing at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.
The event celebrating 50 years of legendary SNL musical and comedy performances will also feature special appearances by Ana Gasteyer, Andy Samberg, Maya Rudolph, Paul Shaffer, Tracy Morgan, Will Ferrell, and more surprise guests. Previously announced performers include Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, David Byrne, DEVO, Eddie Vedder, Jack White, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn, The B-52s, and The Roots.
The one-night-only event is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Lorne Michaels and Grammy and Oscar winner Mark Ronson. SNL50: The Homecoming Concert will stream live on Peacock on Feb. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Prime Video confirms Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Today, Prime Video confirmed Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is in pre-production and will begin filming this spring in the series’ new production home at Shepperton Studios in the UK. The Paley Center for Media has announced additional stars joining key events at PalyFest LA 2025, taking place March 21 through March 28 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The additional names include Severance’s Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus, and Gwendoline Christie; Agatha All Along’s Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Debra Jo Rupp; Hacks’ Carl Clemons-Hopkins and Mark Indelicato; and Poker Face’s Kumail Nanjiani and Clea DuVall.
