NBA All-Star weekend: How to watch the Rising Stars tournament
The NBA has raised the stakes of this year’s Rising Stars game, making it count for the up-and-coming talent on the rosters. The NBA’s best rookies, sophomores and G-League players will compete in a tournament where the winning team will ultimately face off against the NBA All-Stars.
Former Warriors stars Chris Mullin and Jeremy Lin will coach two of the four teams. And current Warriors Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis as well as Pat Spencer from the Santa Cruz Warriors are in the mix to play.
The winning Rising Stars team will play in the All-Star Game mini-tournament on Sunday, Feb. 16. WNBA legend Candace Parker will serve as honorary GM of the Rising Stars champion, known as Team Candace.
