Govt to launch Devolution Index Report on panchayats

Minister S. P. Singh Baghel will unveil the Devolution Index Report on February 13, detailing the progress of decentralization in Indian panchayats. The report assesses states and Union Territories on six dimensions including framework, functions, and finances. It aims to enhance local self-governance, transparency, and provide a roadmap for effective decentralization policies.
