According to Elon Musk's attorney Marc Toberoff, Musk and a coalition of investment firms are determined to take over OpenAI and restore its non-profit status. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman took to Musk’s social media platform, X, rejecting the proposed acquisition, and jokingly said, "No thank you, but we will buy Twitter for $9.74 billion if you want."
