Chilly day ahead to cheer on the Chiefs with 2 chances for snow this week
What We’re Tracking
- Chilly Sunday
- Snow likely with two approaching systems
- Bitterly cold late week
After our front moved through yesterday, the colder air has settled in this morning as many start off in the lower 20s. There are a few clouds passing on through but winds have backed off overnight and should stay light throughout the daytime.
We'll see a mix of sun and clouds today with a little more sunshine in store this afternoon. Highs will struggle into the middle 30s. Overall not a bad day to cheer on the Chiefs in the big game!
For the start of the upcoming work week, temperatures settle back into the 20s and 30s for highs, but we are tracking potential for wintry precipitation Monday into Tuesday and Tuesday into Wednesday.
Those details will become a little more certain as we draw closer. For simplicity, this is not a repeat of the blizzard we experienced earlier this winter. The first system will only bring in low totals with most seeing upwards of an inch or two.
