1 killed, 2 injured in Dunning crash
One person is dead and two others are injured after a car crashed into a utility pole in Dunning early Saturday, police said.
Officers on patrol observed a gray sedan try to turn too fast and crash into the pole in the 4200 block of North Oak Park Avenue around 2:16 a.m., Chicago police said. The 29-year-old male driver was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition. An adult female passenger was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in critical condition.
Another passenger, a 29-year-old man, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Citations are pending for the driver of the vehicle, and Chicago police's Major Accidents Unit is investigating the crash.
