Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will have 15 Texas players in the game, tied with Florida as the most from one state.

The Eagles have eight players from Texas, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is from the Houston area, playing at Channelview High School.

Another Houston-area player for the Eagles is wide receiver Ainias Smith, who is from Missouri City but played at Dulles High School in Sugar Land and at Texas A&M.

The most famous Texan in the game is Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is from Whitehouse and played at Texas Tech. Mahomes is looking to win his fourth Super Bowl title.

One of Mahomes’ favorite targets is wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who was born in Fresno, just outside of Houston, and played his college ball at Texas.
