Kansas woman killed in Wilson County crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - A 35-year-old Altoona woman was killed in a crash Wednesday in southeast Kansas. The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on Kansas Highway 47, four miles east of Altoona.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Saturn Ion was westbound on the highway when it crossed the line and struck the axle of an IHC truck. The driver of the Ion, Leisa Snyder, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 35-year-old truck driver from Georgia wasn't injured.
