It’s a massive day for Caitlin Clark. Her jersey is getting sent into the Iowa rafters.

Yep. The Hawkeyes are fittingly retiring her old threads today, February 2―that’s 2/2, for those picking up on the lovely nod to her jersey number. It’s fitting for a player so critical to Iowa’s program.

During her time at Iowa, Caitlin broke countless records, including the NCAA women’s scoring record (with her signature logo 3-pointer, I might add) and the Division I college basketball scoring record. Her impact on the Hawkeyes was so prolific that even her competition credited her for bringing so many eyeballs to women’s basketball.
