Forest department captures rogue elephant Kajur Karna after two-year rampage in Karnataka's Madikeri villages
Kajur Karna, a 40-year-old wild elephant that had been troubling villages for two years, was successfully captured by the Forest Department. The operation involved over sixty personnel, six elephants from Dubare camp, and coordination with police and veterinary officials. The elephant was tranquilised, secured, and transported to the Dubare elephant camp.
