Union Budget 2025: IB gets Rs 3,893.35 crore, allocation for NATGRID slashed by 36%

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has been allocated Rs 3,893.35 crore in the Union Budget 2025-26, a slight reduction from the previous year's revised estimates. Meanwhile, the National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID) received a significant budget cut of Rs 89.49 crore for its role in combating terrorism and internal security threats.
