Delhi Police receives Rs 12,259 crore allocation in Union Budget

Delhi Police has received a budget allocation of Rs 12,259.16 crore for 2025-26, reflecting an increase of 7.52% from the previous fiscal year. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the funds will support routine expenses and various schemes, including a model traffic system and enhanced communication network. Upgrading infrastructure and personnel training are also key focuses.
