VOA Persian: Tehran pharmacist says some medicine prices have increased up to 200%
A pharmacist from Tehran told VOA Persian that the “cost of some drugs has increased by 200 percent.” The pharmacist, who wanted to remain anonymous, said medicine has become scarce and expensive over the past two years because of currency fluctuations and a shortage of foreign currency.
