Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Gregory Gutierrez, Bellarmine soccer

Bellarmine soccer player Gregory Gutierrez is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Jan. 20-25.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Gutierrez finished with 45.93% of the vote. Dougherty Valley soccer player Ricardo Feliciano took second and Los Gatos basketball player Anthony Martin was third.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Gutierrez, a senior, scored two goals to lead Bellarmine to a 3-1 win over Archbishop Mitty in West Catholic Athletic League play.
