Love Island fans work out ‘real reason’ behind Luca’s tears after show breakdown – and it’s not because of Scott or Tina
LUCA Bish has left fans worried after a number of emotional moments on Love Island All Stars – and now they think they’ve figured out why.
The fishmonger has had a rough time since returning to the beloved dating show, struggling to find a connection and earlier this week getting into a clash with pal Scott Thomas.
Because of this, he’s been somewhat withdrawn at points, having emotional chats with his worried fellow islanders.
He’s noted that it “was different to last time” he appeared on the series during one chat, where he coupled up with Gemma Owen and remained with her throughout the.
The pair split just three months after the came fourth in the series eight finale, with Gemma confirming the news online.
While Luca knew they had broken up, he later admitted he was “blindsided” by the announcement, with Gemma posting without him knowing.
On Monday, while he apologised to Tina Stinnes for exposing a comment made about her and Scott’s relationship in confidence, Luca was seen getting upset once again.
Sitting on the daybeds, Luca looked emotional as he told Tina: “In any scenario, my intention was never to hurt your feelings.”
“Like I felt…. like I’ve got… like I’ve got girls in my family and stuff like that, and I’ve always been raised to… you just don’t hurt a girl’s feelings,” he continued.
“As soon as I saw you upset, it was instant regret, and I’m sorry for that.”
While Tina noted that she felt “caught in the crossfire” of his row with Scott, Luca said: “It’s not fair, like I bought you into that situation. No one else, you know?”
“It’s not fair, and it wasn’t my place to say it,” he later added.
“You’ve done nothing wrong, and any guy in here would be lucky to be with you.. I tried!”
While the pair hugged it out after the chat, fans believe that Luca has become worried about how he behaves on screen – while others think that he’s not in the right headspace to be in the villa at all.
“Luca thinks he’s done enough self work to be able to go back on the show & get a better reception.” one wrote on X.
“His tears after situations that make him look bad are self serving. He’s not upset he upset anyone. He’s upset he’s not as advanced as he thought he was.”

While a fourth said: “Luca needs to go home, something is the matter and the villa is making it worse,” a fifth added: “I think Luca just needs to go home tbh. He’s been off since day 1.”
While last time he was on the show, Luca was blasted by fans and even charities including Women’s Aid for “controlling” behaviour towards Gemma.
It was something he addressed after leaving the villa, stating he was “embarrassed” by his past behaviour before returning for All Stars.
Revealing his mum forced him to watch the scenes back, Luca conceded he “couldn’t disagree” with the negative backlash and admitted: “I definitely look back and I think ‘what a k**b’ but that’s why I’m coming on again.”
