As Duke’s Tobacco Road swing continues

Fresh off the Blue Devil’s win on the road at Wake, the team is back in Cameron for another in-state rival, the NC State Wolfpack. We all remember what State did to Duke in March last season, but this is a very different club with several new faces and almost everyone in new roles.

The Duke Basketball Roundup crew is here with a look at how State’s season has gone so far including a deep dive into what is working for them on offense (holding onto the ball and not committing turnovers) and defense (forcing teams to make decisions late in the shot clock). Duke figures to be a big favorite in this contest, but as Wake Forest showed all of us, rivalry games have a way of fooling all the expert predictions.
