Opelousas Jr. High goes on lockdown after reported threat

OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) - Opelousas Junior High School was on lockdown Monday morning.

Officials say the school received a threat. Opelousas Police responded to the lockdown. After an assessment was completed, the all clear was given by the Police Department.

Authorities say all employees and students were safe.
